I played around today with slowing down the song a ton (to like 60bpm), moving from power chords to full barre chords, and generally making it sound like an Earth song. Dunno if that's what I'll end up recording, but it's an interesting way to go.
Might go back and actually try to make it sound more like the Paranoid version, since I haven't recorded anything yet.

Annoying guy on the floor:
Fukai-san, famous users of Chorus are Robert Fripp and David Gilmour, and many other artists!
Chairman:
Thank you announcer. Your outbursts really are starting to get annoying though.

I recorded a version last week that I need to add drums to, but I'm starting to think I want to get artsy and make a drumless version

thinking about super-minimal drum machine or some improvised percussion for mine, honestly. (no drumkit here)

My Submission for Iron Fuzz: Round 1 is titled Battle Swine (War Pigs Cover) by my solo black metal project Savage Cross.
It was recorded, mixed, and mastered 01162013-01172013 by myself.

Listen and download here:
http://algeadestruction.bandcamp.com/al ... pigs-coverThis is the setup that I used. I recorded bass and guitar loops, and then did some additional tracking over top.
For chorus, I used a setting on the TimeFactor that gave a slow stereo chorus effect on both bass and guitar.
I also used the Memory Boy set to a faster, deeper chorus for two of the guitar parts.
