At first I dialed in a very noisy setting, then turned to something more or less like synthe's video. Infinite mode. When I got it (used) the expand switch wasn't working and all I found inside my patience was a latching switch. So now the expand mode is latching, in case anybody's wondering.

I thought one knob of the 4096 was kinda lofi-y and the other normal analogish stuff. I don't remember but I think I saw something in the pgs video about it.
I've been thinking about getting a MLJr recently too.

The MLjrs go cheap on TGP. Picked mine up for $210. Should be in on Wednesday.

It's really stupid.. I found out that the problem wasn't the pedal, but the fact that it was daisy-chained through 1Spot = noise! I should've thought about this stupid simple problem! This pedal needs to be isolated obviously. Just got myself the chameleon, now it's quiet, WARM & FAT! I get all that analog goodness. So I might redo another video when I have time in the future to do this pedal justice, and remove the last one so ppl won't get confused.

Isolate, people.. ISOLATE! Now you can continue GAS-ing this pedal :thumb: that's the bad news lol..

Interesting, it seems that it simply didn't play well with one of the other pedals you had on the daisy chain. I had it powered on a Boss wallwart along with some others and no problem. But it seems those Boss supplies actually cause less problems than the 1Spots. Odd that noone is pushing those more.

Yeah not really sure what happened in the chain, but I've been using 1spot for years with zero problem, so I naively wasn't thinking if it could be the reason of that noise coming out of Ad4096. Finally made a jump to the trex chameleon just because I'm tired of having the 18v adapter sticking out the surface of my pt-2 from the power strip beneath and wasting space. Also 16% off wasn't a bad deal from prymaxe
