Mathias knows his shiz! I've been listening to Shields by Grizzly Bear so much recently. I didn't like it at first, but it's really grown on me. I'll also throw in Undersea by the Antlers. It's a short little EP but I dig it. The first song is totes awesome. Also the John Frusciante EP Letur-Lefr and the album PBX.

I made this thread 'cause I was all like "did I even buy an album from 2012 this year?"

And I did. The High on Fire album (which is definitely a solid album). Still gotta check out the Om record, the Swans record, and the Flying Lotus record. And Neurosis.

But so far AOTY's are the HoF record and Oneida's new jam.
