If I played guitar, I'd love an Esquire.

Why do I usually prefer wood-tone finishes, subtle bursts, woody guitars...but when it comes to Fenders, my top colors are Shell Pink, Daphne Blue (pearl pickguard, or extra points for a mint green one!), Surf Green with cream and/or mint hardware... In some ways, the cuter the better, the uglier the better. Except I think all those are gorgeous.

Have they just so successfully created a brand image that they brainwashed me?
(I'm not a Fender worshiper...I've only owned 3-4 ever, and I don't like Strats. Though I do think Fender > Gibson for lots of reasons.)
