Saw them last night, was a solid show. Their violinist had a family emergency and wasn't there, which probably took a decent amout away from the performance, but I was still impressed. I feel like a nerd because I could pin-point the exact moment the drone commander came in during of of their drones
Glad you enjoyed it, although I have to say, I can't imagine enjoying it without the violin myself. Looking forward to seeing them again so hopefully they'll be back here soon. Saw them about 12 years ago with Sigur Ros and Fly Pan Am and it's still one of the best gigs I ever saw. Caught their last gig but it was pretty much ruined by my girlfriend being exhausted after a mad long shift at work and her not being into it in the slightest. I even left before the encore which I fucking hate doing!!!! She's normally into the same stuff as me but she hated that gig. Next time she can stay at home so I can actually enjoy it!
