In my brief and limited experience with a Fuck, I'd say you can stack into the Rusty Box a bit better, in that it can be more transparent if you want it, or it can be agressive and present if you want it to be too. But then again I only got to use a Fuck for a few days

This was one of the first threads I posted in. Also, power amp+rusty box is a really good amp solution. Used to use that until my power amp caught fire.

I honestly keep my Rusty box on 99% of the time now, and when I want to get dirty, instead of hitting my Big Muff, I slam the boost switch

Anybody got clips of a Rusty Box on regular guitar? All the demos I can find are on bass, which is understandable, but I still want a guitar demo.

I'll have to try to record one sometime this week for you. Any requests? Just the box itself, or would you like some stacking too?

Some stacking would be cool if you've got the time, but I'd mainly be interested in hearing it by itself with various gain & tone settings.

Cool! I'll see what I can do. I'll try it out with humbuckers and coils as well, and why not throw a p90 in there for good measure?

It's my new favorite sound. Heaviness, with a lot more focus than I'm used to, which has come in handy

Not when I'm playing anyway.
Wonder if it sounds okay with flats...
It sounds great with flats. I never turn it off. Except for the couple times I've gotten drunk and lost the annoying power adapter.
kbithecrowing wrote:I know the rusty box probably has a more robust EQ section, but in terms of sound how does it compare to the Fuck?
I have the idea of just getting a power amp and one of these.
Rusty Box or Fuck? Rusty Box AND Fuck is the answer. Fuck->Rusty is amazing and it really seems to love having other dirt before it.

As requested- no time for super stacking tonight, though.
My first actual DI video recordings, which is nice. Used the Verellen and all.
