Yeah Sunn was the loudest show I've ever heard. I brought earplugs of course but people were sitting down and covering their ears with hooded sweatshirts they had just purchased....
And of course some fucking smart asses yelling out requests and thinking they're so funny.... tbqh it wasn't really that funny even the first time they did it.....

Aye tis troo!!!! on both accounts! The wifey wants to go somewhere different then black cat anyways, were there too much. She hasn't been to richmond in forever so it will be nice to get out.

i find it funny that a vegan straight-edge grindcore band is opening for sun down here. i don't think the two crowds will mix very well?...sunn is almost the antithesis of that, in my eyes. slow and intoxicating (and almost definitely carnivorous).

It will mix well at the Richmond show I'm going to, there's alot of Vegan Crusties down there. They are also the ones that introduced me to alot of the old school doom in my teens.

I've read numerous interviews with SOMA and they do have "riffs" but they are base's for songs that they build upon uniquely at each show depending on who is accompanying them. Since they are touring with Atilla there will probably more song structure then you expect.
