I think they were both trippin at one point or another . Meaning, I saw good&bad on either side. The emails were very bipolar. I definitely don't want to open a can of worms, especially as I have no first hand experience with the company, but I thought the info might be relevant.

Woah, Jack sounds like a fucking horse's ass. I don't see any bad on the part of the customer. I would never, fucking EVER send my pedal AND $100 bucks upfront just to get a pedal fixed. The builder could just fuck right off.

I couldn't understand how he freaked out at the customer after he agreed to the deal and asked how to pay him and where to send it.
It just didn't really seem appropriate to ask for payment in advance when he already would have had his pedal. I would never have agreed to that if it were me.

Yeah I was torn in that thread as I LOVE the Depth Charge. The advance did seem a little wierd though...

That's the normal size for most of his pedals. 5-5/8" by 4-5/8" Mega, Mag, Decomp, Behemo,

Max Overdrive, Heavy Machine, Freq LSD are all the same size just turned sideways.

The others (Huge Box, etc.) are smaller.

Yeah, after I finally found it's sweet spot, I can understand why people bash on the ODB-3 (which I don't think I could ever go back to). It's basically a DS-1 with a clean blend.

I gotta ask you about the Audiomonk man. I listened to your demos and it sounds good, but not wall of fuzz tear your face off good. Was it just the audio in the demos maybe? To my ears it actually sounded like there was considerable low end loss as well.

Funny you should mention that.... I was actually gonna go back and record one in Drop A

There's a noticeable drop on volume on the "twiggy" mode or whatever you want to call it. The first mode is RIDICULOUS. It's really one of my favorite tones.
It might have been the recording, but have you listened to it on a full setup with a sub?

jwar - I went back and looked at that clip (the one of the fuzzpotion with subdecay?) On those recordings during most of that month I was ONLY mic'ing the cab without blending a signal from the DI.

My mic placement was a little screwy and it didn't capture the best bass response. The levels were also kinda off

(I knew there was a reason for the reminder on my desk of WHY I wanted to re-record those
