bumping this up to say that I'm considering the Carr Raleigh again! fuck it.

I was just at Ludlow Guitars in NYC last week and they had a Raleigh in stock.

I'm not really crazy about Ludlow's customer service, but they sure do have some nice gear sitting in their store.

Strong GAS for a Swart STR-Trem today. That plus a swart night light sounds like the perfect any time of day or night setup. Really want to play one first. No dealers nearby though.

Yeah the only time I've demo'd Swart stuff I've been floored by the prices, but also how good they sound.

Sometimes I feel like simple, single-ended 5w amps should never be more than $500 but maybe that's just me.

man, checking these guys out...GAS is rising. But yeah, I'd like to fucking HEAR one first. clips, youtube, SOMETHING.

But 5 watts with verb and trem from a company whose amps always sound good? and the suitcase-style combo takes me straight to bonertown.

ha, anything is possible. I don't flip amps nearly as much as I do guitars, though, duder. I've only sold 2 amps in the past couple of years - a Marshall that just wasn't me, and a V4 that was just too damn big.
