And I have a beast neck that I'm going to make work with it.
Most likely pop a led in it
and I have a feeling the pickups...

 That's fuckin' sexy, right there. I want one of those neck-thru Mockingbirds, with the ebony board and cloud inlays. I remember seeing them in Musician's Fiend a couple years ago. A lot like MLC's, but the body was stained darker.

Yeah, I totally sold on neck throughs. I use to know a girl who had a really old one with koa wings, it was very nice.

That's bad ass muddy! :joy:

The beast headstock will look awesome on that! :thumb:

You'll get a bird someday ghostez! I really really love mine and the neck thru is awesome! Look for the calibre classic series. Don't know if they still have those but they are way better than the koreans!

That's the one.

It doesn't have any points point in at your body, though. The Beast does. It makes a big difference.

The guy that designed the beast (I think the guy in Deicide or some other shitty band) had Moser do an ever more intense shape, and Moser tamed that one down (like a ton), and released this shape.

of course, then BCR sued them, so they made a new, even less pointy version instead. Lawsuit guitars! w00h!

But, yeah. It's surprisingly comfortable to play, like a lot of old BC Rich designs. Moser's the guy that designed the Bich (and I think the Seagul). Old BCR shapes = fuckin' awesome. New ones = fucking lame.

 I've been trying to score a lucite BC Rich for 4 months... I just didn't want to pay what the normal price was, all clear ones are around 500 :idk:

I like the look and feel of the Mockingbird basses, but I've never played one whose sound really thrilled me.

After looking it up, it was apparently just the Bich that he designed. Still owns the rights to the design, too. And they start at $3,700. Which is... not cheap. :grumpy:

I know what you mean. Mockingbirds are sweet, but I've never played a BC Rich bass in general that I thought sounded all that cool. I'm sure the custom shop stuff sounds amazing, but the normal stuff all has that typical big-brand lifeless sound...

Ok so.. The beast next was a no go... fucking specs and different models with the same info... THIS guitar was not a 24 fret.. and it's a 25.5 scale.. so.. I put a ESP neck on it

Also I FUCKING HATE the way they wired it! WTF? THERE IS NO FLAT! FUCKING TONE CONTROL WIRING IS BULLSHIT! I'm going to have to gut the thing... It does sound good but it's unplugged is so nice and clear where plugged in you are always going though filtering... whatever...

anyway here is pict

I always thought the Mockingbird was cool, and that the 10-string Bich was a brilliant design.

My MockingBird Bass, it is a neck-through. The finish is sweet and hard to photograph. This is a solid bass.

A better shot of the finish

Ok so... even though I got the dano neck... I am not going to change this I like it too much now that I disconnected the tone control [will rewire correctly later] but I am thinking on different pickups.. these are too METALZY and a big chunk of my fuzzes hate them..
