I've always used the 'verb in my AC15, but since I've switched to just using my half stack, I've been considering a reverb pedal. But I'm really not sure what I want in a reverb. Probably something that sounds more like a spring reverb, but maybe not exactly.
I'm gonna watch this thread some more.

The Reverb on my Super Reverb works for most shit, and everything else I use the timeline. Springs are good enough when you don't have a good room, I find.

It's got 20db clean boost too, so don't worry about volume loss.

Fender amp reverb on all the time

not a big reverb user, but yeah, Fender amp reverb on 2 or 3 works for the touch of it I use.

just wanted to add that if I had a larger Fender amp, I'd have no need for a reverb pedal. I have 3 vintage, low wattage amps that don't feature onboard 'verb,so...

I really dig the Cathedral and it has been my main reverb for over a year now.
It does help to run a boost pedal at times but that is no big deal to me.
The TC reverb is also pretty cool but the volume drop is even worse with it, great for recording though.

I can't see myself needing anything but a Dr. Scientist RRR, the different types of reverb make it so versatile but so easy to dial in.
