American G&L's come with either a 7 1/2 or 12 in radius actually, mine has the 12 inch radius and it's got the best neck I've ever played.
I've never seen a used American G&L for as low as $400, but if you search around and wait for the right deal you can probably snag one for about $600.

Here's mine:
The SC-2 is a killer! One of nicest feeling necks in my stable and the MFD's sound super super good. So much bite.
The SC-3 I'm still warming up to. The neck could use a little fine tuning, but man - that thing sounds gooooooooood. Holy hell. The flexibility of having three MFD's to work with is bananas. Plus it's yellow like bananas. Can't beat these for the money.
Also - I have bottomless ASAT GAS.
