Not necessarily, I knew that I wanted to make noise one way or the other. Never sank the bullet on a BM clone because I already have a muff an I wanted to see my other options. Musket is just a benchmark.

What kind of Muff have you got? I've always wanted to toy with one of the cheaper meathead dark clones, and I'd be curious to see how they stack*

More crushing than the Meathead Dark? Cuz my clone is totally cutting and crushing. I thought the Slomatics-used meathead was the model that became the Dark model after it was retuned? Infos?

I don't find the meathead to be great stacking tho. The thing I like most is a simple boost - it sags the fuzz a little and kills the clean up when you roll off volume.
