Thanks soo much guys i relaly apprecaite it, its not bad for a 44 minute improv jam the first time i ever picked up an 8 string guitar. We may remix and remaster it as the whole mis and master process was done in like 15 minutes, this was just a test of the emergency dronecast system...

Thanks man, i was tweaking the pedals as i was jamming it was still on 6 string settings at the start. I found usable settings i like about 1/3rd of the way through but the volume was considerably quieter than i had the recording set for.

HAHAHA not yet! But the search has just begun.... i... will... find.... the... holy... grail....

speaking of which, anyone know any true completely custom pickup makers? It all ready has a one of a kind seymour duncan passive, but i can't be true to my self with out an iommi now can I????

In all seriousness i really like this custom SD so its probably gonna stay. Very different from the iommi's and my AA sound, and once i get the new pedal board setup, get the orange ad200b, and dial it all in its going to be way better than this track. I want 2 completely different sounds for AA and Sheol.

Dual stacked Iommi pickups, P-bass style

Trade deal..... The way i think about it, i only use 1 channel on an amp, the clean channel. All my dirt is handled via my pedal board, along with all my time / modulation effects. So #1 on the list, single channel amp. I also play in drop tunings and with an 8 string guitar, with tons of low end. So the eq should be more focused on the low end, plus i like a darker amp with less highs. Sounds like a bass eq would would be voiced more along my lines right? so #2 on the list Basic bass guitar style eq section (bonus if its a bax stack) also i play loud, as loud as possible, i also love the tone of 6550 and kt88 power tubes, and the lowest power rating cab i own is 400 watts. so #3 on the list 200+ watts and 6550 or kt88 power tubes. I also dont want anything else i won't use to keep the tone going through the shortest path possible. so #4 on the list no redundant bullshit on the head i wont use. Let's review. :)

#1 Single Channel (ad200b=check)
#2 Downtuned and bass friendly eq (ad200b=check, bonus for bax stack)
#3 200+ watts and 6550 or kt88 powered (ad200b=check)
#4 no added functions i wont be using (ad200b=check)

So why wouldnt an ad200b fit the bill? I'm trading a reissue model t hald stack for it (head with roadcase in good condition, the cab has been through hell and has the scars to prove it) value of that is what 1200$ if i'm lucky and its only 120 watts, the ad200b is easily resellable for what 1500$ - 1600$ so thats a trade up value of 300$ and an increase of 80watts plus its in 9.8/10 condition.

The ad200b is a basic version of the custom dunwich i have nick building me which will follow the same basic principles but with alot more usable tone shaping tools and utilities with slightly different eq voicing and added depth, resonance, presence and mode controls along with an fx loop and a slave out. The way i see it, it would be a close second to the dunwich with a decent resale value that i could use as a backup or as my 2nd head in a stereo live rig or just as a practice space head.

Oh if you're getting it in a trade, that's a whole nother box of wax.

Not that the AD200 is bad. Far from it, it's just hella overpriced.

Drone on.

Oh yeah i'd never pay retail for it, 2400$ brand new is ridiculous. just for the orange name? meh... I just lucked out and found someone switching from bass to guitar and i was looking for something different and more powerful... then it turned out we knew each others bands and band mates, and its been gravy since then. Should have it friday night or saturday.

So 2 El Caps hit the B/S/T in one day.... time to see who gets back to me first...... Today is looking up compared to yesterdays melt down of a fiasco (virus killed me home comp, lost thousands of hours of music and artwork, not to mention programs, luckily the important stuff is backed up on atleast 2 external drives....)

Thanks my friend! I unfortunately ended up selling it a few months back to finance gear for the new band. I miss it but right now it would be sitting around collecting dust. I might get another one one day but I will most likely have a friend build me one.
