I don't like that all these basses have bridge pickups either.
The thinline tele isn't all bad though.

I wish the Tele bass had three pickups...

You'd want a four necked bass that comes on a spinny mount so you can make it look like a ninja star and rotate while playing.

With lights and mirrors and ready for 80s hair bands.

Admit it.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.

And why not.. on a similar subject.. I am drawing out a strange cross between a SG and a explorer like the doubleneck in FLCL

That bass NEEDS a 51 Pbass style pickup in the middle to truely be full of win, ATM it is just sorta cute.

Go for broke - sideways mounted pbass pickup with sympathetic sitar-esque strings mounted to a surplus Kahler trem.

See, now THIS design sounds like it has promise to me. Add in some oddly placed piezos (along the back of the neck, in the headstock beneath the strings, at the heel of the neck) and some strange split-second circuit-break pads like a Teuffel Tesla, and I'd be there in a hot second!

Muddy, let's score one of those Humbucker Jazzys and work it up to THOSE specs!

Dude, this has been one of my insidious plans for a few months now.
Like one of Solmania's guitars. They are my favorite guitars ever.

Bellyheart wrote:Tele plus may happen. I had a Nashville Deluxe and dug the three pickups...I imagine a humbucker bridge could be fun. Also the dual p-90 tele is alright with me. I've just always hated the electronic setup of those guitars. I want one volume one tone!

Rondo has this semi-hollow tele with p-90s with your desired controls. Only $160!

That Tele Plus is kinda cool. Tele PU in the neck w/ Humbucker in the bridge is a great and kinda unusual combo in my book. Who knows what that middle PU might bring to the party.

Right?

Yet the rest of that show was exquisite.
