A friend and I interviewed him for our college radio station and Oliver sounds like a good guy he also said he didn't mind people cloning his stuff either.

I only had some contact with DBA and it was with Matt, my Fuzz War got stolen in a burglary and i got a new one for 90$ including shipping overseas, thats like super nice! That insurance money covered a lots of nice new pedals last year.

aptbs wanted to use our amps when they came thru town and i tactfully declined, they ended renting like a dozen fender twins. no way they were going to run that volume thru my stuff :animal: : :p

Probably for the best. He used two Twins stacked when we saw 'em and I can't believe those fuckers didn't explode right on stage. Oliver just brutalizes those amps with some nasty, nasty fuzz. So awesome!

Okay. Although I do kinda agree that if each one is amazing that they would be in their own enclosures, just sayin. :idk:

That's a good point. Could you imagine if pedal companies started putting more than one good tone in each box? For example, if someone like McSpunckle put all those different versions of Gnomeratron Minis into one Deluxe box. That would be crazy!

I'm here to verify, the Deluxe VTF is absolutely crazy, in most every way. If we're talking a separate box for each cool new sound, McS would have a huge product line based on that thing, HUGE. He could just quit designing, early retirement all lined up.

If that's how it was done, of course.

I'll maybe buy this in a year or so when the price drops, i have a feeling this one will not be cheap, even by DBA standards. I've always thought Oliver seemed like a really awesome guy, very nice to interviewers and fans.

Dammit, I thought I was satisfied with my high five>wc>muff combo for fuzz. But this...this looks amazing.

I'm not sure about those samples. It's interesting, but the quality of them kinda puts me off making any kind of judgement. It was like I was listening to them from under my duvet.
I'll wait until Andy from PGS demos it (and invariably makes me need one due to his ability to make any pedal do good things).
