i can totally understand how folks can pay $200+ for a pedal. i just have to wait until they show up used unless they're so utterly essential to my life condition that i can't live without them, and so far i've been lucky to avoid hearing anything i can't live without and couldn't find used. that fucking 16-stage phaser is making my life difficult, though. :grumpy:

Arpeggiator in a ZVex Ooh-Wah type inclosure.
You can set the intervals it jumps to.

Gearmond wrote:(probably exists) a loop pedal where each recorded bit is on it's own independant time loop. like i can have a 2.5 second loop, and record a 5 second loop on top of it, so the total loop ends up being the 5 sec one once, and the 2.5 one twice. so i can layer up some excellent polyrhythms

I was thinking about that the other day when my smmh was pissing me off, it really should do that.

An arpeggiator pedal with random/pseudo random modes where you can set all the chords it uses and have it so it follows chords and key or just does whatever the hell. I know I could probably do it with a rack unit and cv controller (or a whammy+cv?) but ughhh I only want a pedal that does that.

yeah, that was on my wishlist too, lol.

another one would be a GOOD clean octave pedal. one up, one down. doesn't sound synthy, because i love the sound of 12-strings, but not the feel or the tuning

An Octron that work better with chords would be awesome!

Yeah, but I want it in a pedal.

Also, I'd like a pedal designed to change your guitar tunings that actually sounds good.

Beside that this kills (my idea of) the ringmod: pigtronix mothership has an "intelligent" ringmod.

Have you considered a harmonizer?

Or the Ring Thing. I mean, it wouldn't recalibrate itself on the fly - you have to recalibrate it each time you want to change key, but still - no CV!

Interesting... but sound too synthy for me.
