I grabbed one a while back and here are my first thoughts: I was initially playing with everything dimed which has a really great high gain sorta blowtorch sizzle - so far so awesome. Then I started peeling back the push and the tone controls and discovered all of this amazing low gain stuff too! The decay on ringing sustained notes and chords is really really beautiful, sort of a lilting organic sputter. I was also curious about how it sounded with different guitars, and whether or not it would let the guitar's individual tone shine through. I tried it with an ESP Hybrid prototype set up kinda like a Tele Esquire (Tele bridge PU only - no neck pickup), and it had that great punchy twangy Tele bridge PU base tone under the fuzz. Then I swapped guitars and tried it with a semi-hollow Ibanez AM50 (two humbuckers), and the tone opened right up. Very impressed with this thing! Great work Tom.

:joy: Did you run it through the Downer yet? I'm very curious about that particular combination.

I'm not a bass player, and I think I've only gotten a reaction from one bassist (a happy one!), but the Fuzz Huger should love bass!
