The Unpleasant Surprise is a strange beast, hard to control and even harder to explain. Think of it as losing all dynamics, there's either a wall of sound coming at your ears or nothing at all, no in between. I'm getting some samples together to give a little taste of it's fury. The switches are loosely labelled G(ain), C(omp) and T(one). Onset is a gate threshold and gain all wrapped into one, particularly useful when the US is preceded by dirt pedals. Design ain't final yet, might be some slight changes. It sounds great with bass too, if you're into nasty bass lines.

There are a lot of great delays out there. It's one of the main reasons I don't feel the need to make one. Unless of course I can find something that makes it stand out, I mean really stand out. Something that allows the player to go places he'd never thought possible.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, keep 'em coming...

Guillaume
I love fuzz, and I like this place.

Guillaume, Any update on the US? Is the design final now or you're still working on it? I'm curious about this one... can't wait to ear a demo.

Thanks yo.

My relationship with Burlington Guitar & Amp never took off. Too bad though, 'cause it's a nice little shop.

Oh my. Those were some sweet sounds there. Now all we need is one to go to Distoshop, so I can try it on bass.

Burlington can't handle this stuff. It is a nice little shop though. Who stocks Fairfield in NYC?
