Yeah, so i've heard

the thing is it's probably "too much" for me

feature-wise
when i tried MkV, it was the same... a ton of features, different clipping possibilities and modes but in the end there were like three sounds that sounded good to me

EQD Monarch set for low gain pushing an EQD Hoof with the Shift knob around 2 o'clock. Smooth saturated sustainy goodness that cuts right through any mix. Of course this needs to be loud to work, but why even bother if it's not going to be loud?

This. AMAZING toanz.
Another great Hoof-pusher is the Supercollider
But my vote ultimately goes to the Monarch...brilliant alone, and it just sounds sick in front of almost any dirt

I just tried something today...
Four Eyes Fuzz (Fairfield Circuitry) into The Elements "Cleanness Mode" (Dr. Scientist)... thats AWESOME.
Also... The Elements "Fuzz like setup" (Dr. Scientist) into Hydra (Liquid Gain)... this sound EVIL and LOUD.

Fuck OD has been the best I have tried so far. I also really liked the Wampler Black '65 because there is no other OD pedal like it out there, and you can get some unique tones out of it, but I foolishly got rid of it and haven't looked back. Too many other flavors to try to get caught up on one thing anyway. I am curious to try a Black Forest next, once I get a new car and maybe have money for gear again.

But I like them alllllllllll.
Singing Tree and Fuck OD. The Singing Tree is my go to low gain sound and hasn't left my board since I got it, and after playing the Fuck for ten minutes it was quickly added to the PT-Pro family.
As far as fuzz goes, my TAFM is my absolute favorite. As much as I love all of my fuzz, the TAFM is muh main bitch.

I love my BYOC Mouse. (rev. 2 with the 6-way clipping)
the Asymmetrical O.D. clipping gives a really good rippity fuzz sound at about 3/4s gain. I replaced the LM308 in it with an LM741, blasphemy, i know, but it's socketed, so if i ever get sick of it i can always switch it back.
The Filter circuit, though...i may have fucked that up. But i never leave it off of zero, so it's all good.
