So I'm still waiting to lay ears on the Black Forest (which I pre-ordered regardless) and I hear via Jason's FB (Mark's art guy) that B.A.T. is coming out with the Sarcophagus next!?!?!?

I don't even know what it is (IC Muff is my guess) and I'm interested. WTF? Stop Mark, please.

I have a super duper package coming from Mark real soon. First round is a LSTR, Pharaoh and Uni-Drive/Doom-Drive pedal some dude made for Mark. Then when the Black Forest is dropped I have one of those on the way! I WILL make my dirt selection BAT only!

Same here, all my dirt will be BAT and all modulation will be earthquaker!!!! i can't wait, i've already got it all planned out including loops to chain pedals I can't wait to find out more info on the sarcophagus i hope it's some kind of dark sounding booster designed to be put inline directly after the pharaoh, cause that's the only way i see the name being fitting.... that way all the pedals will kind of tell a story, you enter the black forest, get molested, become pharaoh and then end up in the sarcophagus.

hope Mark releases both Black Forest and Sarcophagus REAL soon because im missing my fuzzyness on the board right now.

Black forest is set for a september 19th release date last i heard. Sarcophagus is probably 2 to 3 months out, and preorders will def help get that pedal into motion sooner too, but those will be waiting on info as to what IT is.... I really hope he starts looking at modulation pedals, so that way i can custom order a phaser/delay/reverb pedal then the only thing on my board non BAT will be my tuner lol

Awhile back, before the LSTR was conceived, Mark mentioned some upcoming projects. These included a Pharoah + Boost, IC Muff, and a Fuzz Face with a bax tone stack. Not sure what he got around to actually designing.

Well from what i gather the black forest is made to be a booster, and the lstr is a muff variant, so maybe the sarcophagus will be the fuzz face with the bax tone stack. That would be pretty wicked. I'm also hoping for a rat variant like he made for my friend James Haun of Sourvein, that custom Gemini pedal Mark made for him is a pharaoh into a rat variant and it is siiiiiiiiick.

The Rat variant sounds super SICK, I'd love one of those. Somehow, I've lived without one for many, many years. B.A.T.'s take on it would be a must have.

And there are plans for an IC Muff, yet another variant beyond the LSTR and Pharaoh. Who knows when though. I need a good Fuzz Face, hoping it's that actually...

100% agreed!

I'm glad BAT is taking off, he's really captured what alot of people are looking for and i'm an avid supporter. Not only does he make great product's but he's a stand up guy himself and answers his own email's, whether i use them or not (which i most likely will in the studio or live) i will probably end up ordering everything he makes, i just hope he doesn't stick with only doing dirt pedal's i would love to see him expand out to a full line of pedals.
