knob creek is good if you like to feel the heat. its a little too spicey though. depends on your mood and what you like. good for a winter sipper. on topic of sippers with good heat, try some navan. I think its a vanilla brandy. dont mix it and dont drink it fast.

Will do :thumb:

I did have Knob Creek in the thick of the MN winter so it felt good after walking outside, it definitely does bring the heat though.

I've never been about drinking good liquor fast, all the people at the parties I would throw would be doing shots of rum and vodka and chugging keystone. I'd be just sipping whiskey drinking glasses of Belgian ales, I'd be just as drunk as they were by the end of the night, just not sick or passing out

Drank half a bottle Espolon, finally finished building my 2x12 cab, played catch with my daughter, jammed good and loud, woke up feelin fine.

Espolon makes everything better.

I usually stick to scotch and bourbon when at home, but my favorite cocktail is by far an Old Fashioned. Only trouble is getting a well-made one seems to be nigh-impossible around here.

Other than that I occasionally dive into sangria, sake, gin, limoncello, and a few choice beers.

Crystal Head is everything wrong about vodka. And Dan Aykroyd doesn't need any more money.

But the bottle is a SKULL! DUDE! A CRYSTAL SKULL!!!

I'm not gonna lie... a friend had a bottle of the stuff, so I had her give me the bottle when she was done with it.

Hey may not need the money, but I heard it won a spirits competition recently. You could probably resell the bottle and make back some of the money spent anyway.

I am into New Holland Brewings" Mad Hatter Royale Hopquila.
This is a description via their website...
"For centuries, cultures all over the world, have celebrated the benefits, aroma and flavor of Humulus lupulus, a.k.a. “hops.” Their lively aromatics and punctuated bitterness are best known for their most infamous role in brewing. Hatter Royale is the innovative creation, Hopquila which invites the herbaceous perennial to the exciting world of distilled spirits.
A fermented wash of 100% barley is twice distilled, then steeped with Centennial hops. The vivacious spirit features a grain-centric body framed by citrus-laden hop character in the nose and finish. Hoparitas!"

It is fucking AWESOME!!!

This and Lucid Absinthe are my go-tos this summer.

Local Liquors here in the Netherlands are Beerenburg an Genever or as it seems most English speaking people know it as Dutch Gin which I don't get, cause it is a really different taste..
But if you come across Beerenburg, definetly buy it, great if you caught a cold, for shots, or mixed with coke (the drinkvariant of course ;) )

Genever is most of the times bought by old grandfathers.. And in our bars you have the kopstoot (headpunch) which is a shot of genever immediately followed by a beer.. Watch your head people
