Damn, I hope you've got a lot of money. Bongos and PJB amps are reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally pricey.

Is it really a J if it has P pickups, though?
Isn't that like a Tele with humbuckers and a Strat bridge?

If you are looking for active, I would go with a G&L L2000.

You can cop pretty much any tone out of those MFD pickups, from passive P bass or Jazz to Stingray/ATK active bite. Them MFD's are ballsy as fuck.

I found a pretty good deal on a Bongo-4...but the PJB is just a dream, really...how much are they, usually? :idk:
