As far as the "well if you don't like it..." comments regarding this that are popping up here and on other forums - She put herself out there in such a way as to attract as much attention as possible, it's free, and the subject she covers is relevant to my interests. Thus: an opinion.

That out of the way, I won't watch them, and likely won't make better ones myself because it's not something I care that much about.

I'm certainly not above a dick joke here or there, but I was just using that as an example of a certain kind of vibe that exists in geardom that I think she's partially catering toward. And it's a vibe I'd get on a place like TGP, and it's why I joined ILF.

Once you're seen a thread over there where somebody asks an honest question about what p90s sounds like, and gets several pages of responses from guys old enough to be my dad saying things like, "P90s are like the slutty girl next door - She's fun when things are clean, but she's at her best when things get down and dirty!", then you might know where I'm coming from.

Just not into the aesthetic. And the phony, manufactured impression the whole thing leaves me with doesn't help either.

Personally I don't see what the big issue is about If girl wants to put herself out there like that then why not? If girl is having fun with the whole then then cool. Look those of us the do demos and reviews all have our way of going about stuff My way is to not talk but play and use cool manga as a backdrop [Not one of you noticed I actually bought K-on manga just for the WCPU demo ] and that works for me. Also girl about the not a bout play'n thang... Have you done a 12+ minute demo where you don't actually ever play the guitar but hit it and play with pedals? I could give shit what anyone actually plays in a demo or if they are in tune and all that crap as long as the recording is good and what the pedal sounds like comes across, anything else is "else" and just adds to the personality of the demo-er which adds to the overall fun. In other wurds lighten up guys.

I don't see the big deal either. When I watch demos I usually fast forward past all the talk shit anyways
