Also, you might end up going through a few. So if you really LIKE the TP sound then... on the other hand there are a bunch or others out there. If it was me I'd look at some of Fuzzhugger's stuff :idk: Or Dwarfcraft, or smallsound/bigsound... or... get or build a feedback looper and stick a shitton of fuzzes in it

Maybe AB-Synth. But I can't order anything at the moment... our posts services is on lock-out (lol).
Thanks... vacation time... I'll have time to tink about it.

So maybe:
-Fuzzhugger AB-Synth
-Dwarfcraft Shiva
-SS/BS Year4545

Oh well... in a way having to wait and give yourself time to research the crap out of every pedal that you find mildly interesting can be fun... Well it is to me...

Thanks... I wouldn't mind trying more stuff... but non Boss or Electro Harmonix pedals are very hard to sell where I live.

I love the AB-synth, 5K version with the voice toggle is super versatile. The fuzz alone is worth the purchase, but the oscillation is incredible. Some huge, synthy fuzz tones that are really controllable and tweakable depending on guitar volume.

And what about the AB-Synth 6K?

Just another step up from the 5k, which I own and cherish highly. The 6th knob replaces the voice toggle I'm pretty sure, allowing you to go from bass to guitar to anything in between.

Most :excellent: You will enjoy it. I'm going to get a 6k eventually, and then I'll have 2!

Yea, the 6K looks pretty bad ass, Tom's finish is insane!

The 5K is so great though, that added gain control makes a HUGE difference. Allows it into standard Algal Bloom territory (almost) and off it goes from there. One of my favorite fuzz pedals, oscillating or not.

The TBD is still my go to oscillating fuzz. Maybe my favorite Devi pedal. Actually I use the White Spider too for some awesome oscillating TP sounds.

If the AbSynth doesn't do it for you. The best BEST BEST stable osc. fuzz I've ever used is the 3xFx Fatman V2. you can turn the oscillation on and off with a stomp of your foot. the Osc. never overpowers your guitar while trying to play (a complaint I have against my Death By Audio SSFG) and the range of the self oscillation is amazing. you can get Moog style rumbling square wave bass (I used it when I was playing bass in a band) The fuzz is like Muff style but taken to its logical extreme with a low end blend to keep the heavy-z :)

I should really do a demo of that thing on bass I'm amazed I seem to be the only person using one as such.

I'm pretty sure I will like the AB-Synth... I'm not really into the Muff sound.
I wanted synth like fuzz with oscillation.

I've been interested for a while in the 3xfx on bass, but talk myself out of it. Pretty sure dude lives here, maybe I could just go try one out.
