Okay... its the fx looper pedal with parallel signals, with power starve and shit I've been looking for. Correct?

that is a very ambiguous response.

my attempts at ambiguity are futile at this point.
the cat is already out of the bag!

Polarity switch?
jimmy got the prize!
ok here's the long explanation... sorry that i've been vague. it's a signal splitter/blender with an 2 active EQs, a volume boost, polarity switch, expression input and a few other little twists.
different uses include:
-blend your clean signal with other pedals without phase issues or volume losses
-an EQ and/or boost pedal - use both sides to mix between two separate EQs
-use clean with 2 out of phase EQs and an expresison pedal for manual phasing
-probably more that i can't think of at the moment
block diagram:

the (gain) and (volume) controls would be an option at this point to keep the control count down. they would add a gain stage with clipping to the clean side, making for the possibility of blending fuzzy sounds with other stuff. i *will* probably add another set of jacks as another option so you can just mix 2 separate signals in parallel, without one of them being clean (it
could still be clean, but you'd have the option for something else.) though i need to add a tiny bit more to the circuit for that as well as completely change the layout. right now all the jacks are top mounted...

So, what do I win?
:-)
Cool idea, by the way.
I used to blend fuzz, this would've been an awesome pedal for me.
I have a TAFM now, so...

hey brian, are you running the audio through the expression pedal or is it a vactrol or something? also, will you sell me a pcb? I was gonna make a super simple version with the tl072's I have layin around. just a buffered input and a parallel buffer with one send return and a 25k or 50k blend on the out. but if you could sell me a pcb then I would have an expression jack.

audio through pedal as a vactrol setup would have cost me more PCB space than i could afford. not ideal, i know... but it's a very simple way of doing things. sure i can hook you up with a PCB - if you want, i'll even populate it first! it does have a bit more than you need (EQs, etc.) so send me an email and we can work out the details...
oinkbanana wrote:price point & size?
size = hammond 1590BB. same as my others. all top mounted jacks (6 in total)
price = early run of 10? 15? will be $175, then going up to $225 - this isn't totally firm though. i don't *think* it would be higher than that, but it may be slightly lower... i'd love to keep the price down, but it's a lot of wiring and drilling.

After watching the video for Devi's new Silver Rose (blendable Muff and Super Fuzz) I want the Best Friend so I can make my own variations. If there's a list, Brian, add me to it.

No rush on my pcb man, its custom and low margin and i dont really need it right away. Im soldering 24/7 and i know what it feels like to have a neverending workload.
