Good point!

DarkAxel wrote:Holy Shnikes: yeah, non-mediocrity costs too much

Yet another excellent point! I guess when you consider Gibson is charging 4K now days for a new LP Custom, the EGC stuff is actually a bargain for what you're getting...

Question for those who have played one:
Do any of the ones available have skinny jaguar or mustang-style dimensions? I really want one but I'm picky.

I think when you deal with EGC, it can be a total custom job regarding specs and overall feel, don't think you have to go with a standard shape or size.

Yup, Kevin will make absolutely anything you want. The more custom the specs are, the higher price of course. He offers a ton of different options already though, so if you just wanted a non-standard body and scale length I doubt it would cost THAT much more (it'd certainly take longer to build though).

Sold some more gear today! Now I have enough for a Kramer 350g or 450g. Now I just need to find someone to sell me theirs....

Shit.
I emailed Kevin at Electrical about making an aluminum copy of a neck I love. He said it would be a $65 premium over the normal price. I think I'm going to have to sell my '66 Mustang to fund one.

The thing is about aluminum neck guitars is I'm pretty sure you have to wear robes to play them correctly

Here's a "Rig Rundown" with King Buzzo, mostly EGC content:

And while I'm at it, here's Matt Pike's, easily the best "Rig Rundown" ever filmed! Jordan Wagner loses control of said interview right out of the gate and looks like he can't wait for it to end. Pike rules, crazy bastard!
