Something that will have a clear, trebly biting sound with a healthy bottom when I'm playing chords(mostly on top 3-4 strings). Something like a lot of the rhythm playing on Tyrannosaurus Hives by The Hives specifically A Little More For a Little You.

Any other good boosters for under $100?
I'm building some SHO clones in tiny enclosures. Don't know if it will be trebly-enough for you; it is a very clean boost. But you can definitely try one out after I've got them built. I've also got a BYOC Triboost with a germanium treble boost in it (and 3 other boosts) if you want to try that with your setup and see if any of them sound like what you're after -- then you'll know what kind of boost you want.
Edit: It seems that the Hives like the MXR D+, after a little googling, but they've used tons of different amps and effects both live in and in the studio, so it's hard to nail down their sound on an album to particular gear. You might want to something similar/based on the 250/D+ circuit. I'm a huge fan of the EQD White Light, but I don't have one. (Yet!) The 250/D+ without the gain cranked actually sounds like an OD/boost, with treble. If you crank it, you sound like Yngwie
The MXR Distortion 3 has a tone knob.Or just get a germanium treble booster and see how it interacts with your rig. The stuff they use probably won't sound the same on the stuff you use, and such.
Really cheap treble boosters:
