I got the Deluxe. I had been searching far and wide for a small high-quality filter with an external output control and some tweakability - saw the Xerograph in one of Eric's posts, I think. Also, the Iron Ether fella is very nice/professional. I am excite.

Yeah Taylor rules, and the XD...geez, it's hard to put into words how incredible this pedal is. It's amazing how many different sounds you can get out of this. I can make it feedback and that particular setting is one of the absolute ccolest sounds I've ever created! I am using that in a new song and it totally blew my guitar player away!!

i KNOW. there's so many things i'd like to use it for. i love the idea of running it before a volume pedal and some *for Erukus* DELAYS and weird shit after it, putting it into it's self oscilation, then swelling those thru some wobbley things.

right now i'm using it in songs as a straight up filter to accent a part that gets played more simple, but is more thumpy thwacky, and before a PPB to give it just a bit of different fuzz texture during semi breakdown sections.

thing. is. a. BEAST.

that's what's got me so jiggly about the Franta. so far, the Oxide, Xero and Cygney have just been, "yep. that's how you do THAT." pedals. and bit curshers can get VERY silly, VERY quickly. i trust in the Taylor.

man... fuzzes are just NEAT. the difference between even the more straight up ones is massive. the Oxide, Pickle Pie B and TAFM are my favorites right now. and all so unique. that's without even getting into wackier and angrier territory like the Year4545 or the Gray Box.
