Oh man theres been some dank mentions.
i'm currently losing my mind over Dead Meadow's "Shivering King and Others" record as i am with the new Electric Wizard.
Ghost is a favourite, Boris can get extremely psychedelic.
As far as 60's go, jefferson airplane is my psychedelic god..
but there's one band that out psychedelics just about everyone:

probably the single most dynamic band rock'n'roll has ever had to offer. you really ought to listen to their first few records... insane. the organ playing alone is worth it.
