I think a lot of that is that the musicians that think music is creating art don't want to look at it as a business, and the musicians that do play music for a living (and as such, see it as a business) think they're above the ones that create art. Both think the other is wrong, and yet refuse to believe that they're opposite sides of the same coin.

I agree with you; if more people practiced instead of chiding people online, there'd be a lot more cool music out there.

it's so funny cuz it's so true. sometimes i wonder why they call people who run sound "sound guys" when some don't know what sounds good.

I find putting tape over the logos help the sound a lot. I actually really dig the Chili Dog.

I love Danelectro.
They're awesome.
I've got a V1 Dano Transparent overdrive, and a Dano French Toast Octave Fuzz.
Both are insane! :omg:
Seriously though. I don't get what all the hate is about. :idk:

The owner of Danelectro contributed 10,000 dollars in support of the gay marriage ban in California back in 2008. They've been dead to me ever since,at least for any new purchases. Buying used is OK, but he will never get another cent from me.

Holy shit.
Seriously? :wha?:
Why does no one tell me these things?
That's pretty awful.
Well, I got my Transparent OD used and my octave fuzz for free?
Wow. I'll make sure I don't buy anything new from them.
