You're forgetting the most important one of all: Heart! The heart finish could be for the ladies and emo dudes.

I like hearts on things and I am neither a lady, nor am I an emo dude.

I'm just a pussy.

Nah, I figured he'd use a play off the periodic table for the Elements design, but make up things like "Distortium," "Fuzzelium," and "Zinc."

Those are all cool elemental themes! The 'Elements' theme I was thinking of is alchemy... like the pedal is a combination of a bunch of special fundamentals that make something more special than its ingredients. In a mystical/supernatural kinda way.

Another feature idea.. a deep notch filter that you can adjust the frequency of... a steep narrow filter like that can give a cool sound to a signal... toothy.

Not sure why Phil changed the name from The Microphones to one of their albums, but nonetheless The Glow pt. 2 is an amazing album, and as much as I enjoy Mount Eerie I just don't get that same feeling that I find in The Moon.

Sorry to get off topic: The Elements is going to be awesome, and weather related artwork would be awesome. Like a typhoon or blizzard.

As far as I understand, he likes to change things so that he can have a more true fan base... :idk: So you have to search for his latest offering. They have a good amount of b-side material, and it's impossible to get. :(

Are you talking about something that would basically be like a parked wah type effect? So, like if you were to use a wah pedal, and left it in one position to accentuate a narrow frequency band, is that basically the effect you're aiming for? That'd be cool, but I think it might need a second footswitch to be of much use. :idk:

That would actually work really well. Like on the Cosmichorus, have a different ingredient/element under each knob/switch. The background can be something surrealistically spacey.

Something like an extreme boost/cut of certain frequencies?

Had a chance to bread board some more this weekend and it's coming along nicely, getting closer to the kind of distortion tone I'm shooting for.

So this notch filter, I've been messing with it too and I like it... it's a deep cut of a narrow band of frequency and it just changes the character of the distortion in a neat way, I think.

That parked wah kind of sound.. I like that kind of sound sometimes... you can already kind of do that with the Cleanness if you dime your mids, big mid range boost that has that kind of sound. With the Elements I've got a 3 way mids frequency switch on the bread board that goes from high-mids, mids, low-mids and the low-mids setting has a cool parked wah sound with the knob dimed.

The eq controls with the notch filter knob make for a wide variety of tones, I think it's worth having a knob for. Well so far I do... early days still!
