Maybe this is just me thinking too much like a businessman, but if you're the one that screwed up, you need to be the one to fix it. Since this is a simple solution, either offer people the option to do it themselves, or offer to have it shipped back on your dime and you'll do it. Customer service IS the only leg companies have to stand on nowadays, big or small. They need to remember that. [/rant]

I absolutely agree with this. It's one of the reasons I'm not likely to buy Devi's pedals in the future.

you guys....must be new to devi :picard:
to be fair though she has hooked me up in the past when I sent a pedal to be fixed and she messed up she replaced it and gave me something extra, very nice of her.

I love Devi Ever, I truly do.

It just seems that she is doing too much with not a lot of help to keep everything going smooth.

I should have never sold my shoegazer, worst decision ever.

I honestly adore her designs, and she's been nothing but amazingly nice to me. I'm just never sure why there's so much drama always associated with her. I mean, the pedal isn't broken. And, value differences occur in so many different pedals.

But, whatevs.

See, you're justifying poor customer service because it's her MO. LIke I said, maybe it's just me holding everyone else to the same level that I do myself at work (graphic designer at a print house). We screw something up and the customer gets it, we make it right, period. If I'm giving you money for a product, and get a "I screwed up, but you can probably fix this yourself" from you, I'm not only going elsewhere but I'm letting everyone else know how lax you are to deal with issues.

I'm sure she's a great person, but "it's nothing personal, Sonny. It's just business."

naw man I'm with you entirely, did you ever hear the fiasco with the Workhorse? yeah, no thanks
basically I'm just saying that she did take care of me once when I had a broken AE, but as a whole I'm really over her entire way of doing business

Yeah, I hear you. It's just unfortunate when comments like yours are the exception and not the norm, you know?

I really over all of it, in all it's whateverness. But it's nice to know that a pedal you pay $350 for has a limited life span inless you fix it or have it fixed... And I still think Devi's attitude of "if it doesn't work send it back and I will smash it with a hammer and refund you" . That missed the whole point of why we actually wanted the things, I would have waited much longer then we all did to have then right, to me she should have just said "I need more time". Granted, it is in the top fives fuzzes I've ever tried sound wise? yes, Can I trust it to function on a gig, no, does it work %100 of the time, no... :grumpy:

 If it helps, I haven't had any issues with any other of Devi's pedals. I sold my Cherry pops to help pay for the WHF and I gave my old KP to my guitarist which she uses all the time, but I still have and use: OK, DF, SMBL, KP > DB custom and I have a peep somewhere.. I keep losing it...
