I will never...ever....ever....sell my Marshall Shredmaster and Music Man 75RP head.

My Vox Satchurator won't ever leave my possession because it was the last gift I got from my grandma before she died. Luckily I quite like the pedal; even if she'd have got me something I hated I'd still not get rid of it, because, you know, she was my grandma and I miss her.

Other than that, I have a custom pedal that Tom made for me from a contest awhile back that's super cool, definitely one of a kind, so I won't be letting it go. It's based on the AB-Synth but it is kind of a magic box powered by insanity and the blood of the innocent that does incredible, terrible, beautiful things.

Even though I just got it last month, I have a strong feeling I won't sell my Barber Unlimited because it very well might be the best overdrive to distortion pedal I've ever heard. I can't get it to sound bad into any amp or any pedal, it's amazing before overdrives, fuzzes, distortions, amp-in-a-box. I was going to get the Tone Pump EQ instead and I am really, really glad I went with the u-LTD. Since I review pedals in addition to being, like, a pedalholics anonymous member, I've had the chance to really dig into at least a hundred distortions or overdrives. Right now I actually own about 35 of them or so. I don't have "honeymoons" with pedals anymore, sort of how I imagine somebody on their seventh or eighth marriage must feel. Yeah, okay, a new pedal, neat, let's see how it sounds. But fuuuuuuuuuck this thing sounds good. Love at first rock.

Also I promise not to sell my Fender Champ 600 RI this time. I had one before, sold it, regretted it for a few months, bought another one, will not repeat mistake.

Edit: Oh, man, how could I forget - my wife paid off the last bit on a THD Univalve head literally an hour before we got married. As such I will be keeping both the amp, and my wife. Hooray!

The only piece of gear I am planning on never selling is my Spector bass.
It's not the best, sounds terrible without the right strings, weighs a freaking tonne, but I love it.
First real 'artist' bass I got and it immediately grew on me

I've searched for a long while, for good od/distortion tones. I've found a nice combo in a Keeley BD-2 and a Catalinbread DLS. However, three weeks ago, I bought a new amp, a Vox AC30C2, and just like my drummer said "when you get a new amp, throw all your old gear away and start your tone search all over..". The pedals really don't sound the same in my new amp but I really really like them and I'm not sure if I could do without them..Weird? I know..

I don't see myself ever selling my Rickenbacker 4001. It's the most I've ever spent on anything musical, and it took forever to come in, but when it did...Heaven.

I actually considered selling this on Sunday, when an OSG homey reminded me how much bearing it has had on my music.
I was distracted by all this Strymon trinketry, but it has passed. Phew.

Definately my Traben 5 string bass. Its got a bad switch for the elelctronics, which I am too cheap and lazy to fix, but I do love it so. I suspect I'm gonna have this bass for a while.

I really love the sound of my Paul Trombetta pedals.
I own some very good fuzz boxes but everytime I plug in my Tromboner, Mini-Bone or Double Fudge I get a big smile on my face.
And
silly me, I love my Whammy.
I do not care that certain bands made it part of their signature sounds. I could live without a lot of my pedals but not without the Whammy.

My early '80's MIJ Pbass. It was beat to shit when I got it as my first bass for $200 bucks (with hardcase!) in 1996 and it's still going strong! Lake placid blue, tort guard, and a 1 piece maple neck. It has been updated with a Hipshot Detuner since. Mmmmmm.

Phantom Arcade,AB Synth-I will have them and use them forever and ever and ever. And,as much as it pains me to say it,I have fallen in love with a Blue Sparkle finish Danelectro Hodad that belongs to my gf. Such a playable guitar

That's a super purty blue. What's up with the rope-looking thing around the E tuner? That isn't part of the detuner, is it?

Ahh, that's actually just an elastic holding the A string in better break angle over the nut so it doesn't buzz. It will be an easy fix the next time I change strings (leave it longer so it sits lower on the tuner) but these thick, dead strings just sound SO MONSTROUS as is I haven't wanted to futz with it.
