No Sabbath isn't metal, Sabbath IS metal.

Yeah I really love the first 3 QOTSA albums, and the B-sides from the early days are amazing, but now... bleh. Just boring. And there's no way they ever even touch Kyuss.

I'm going to go ahead and assume you dudes are familiar with Unida, but if not:

Not metal, but all RAWK, so who cares?

That second song is Garcia's best performance ever as far as I'm concerned.

^ this! One of my favorite Sabbath tunes (along with two or three dozen of songs) and a great, great song to play with shit loads of fuzz!

It's just that I can't stop, playing the end part ever slower and slower is the dope for me.

Yeah I'd have to say that Volume 4 is probably the greatest metal album ever.
Fun fact: I'm a metalhead who can't stand Iron Maiden, and my name is... Adrian Smith.

Really, I find metal subjective and wide sweeping, generally if I think it is heavy I'm going to put it in the metal slot
This to me is as metal as any other metal. And one of the reasons why they are my favorite band.
