I had an SC120 a few years back. I always found it surprisingly unresponsive and dull.
All i needed to hear. I am buying 2. Bye bye DL4!AngryGoldfish wrote: If you hit the footswitch twice fast, it'll immediately stop the playback. But you can bring that back at any time by pressing it once. I think it starts from the beginning of the loop again. I can't remember for sure.
My 2x15 is from the 800bass series. That's all i really have to offer other than, "Yes, have some."AngryGoldfish wrote:I'll keep my eye out. I've got my eye on this JCM800 Super Bass.

Novikov Still makes them as Novik Amps http://novikamps.ru/usilitel/gitarnye-l ... -mk-6.html The red bear facebook page is full of euros with Noviks.D.o.S. wrote:If you want a JCM style head, try to hunt down a Red Bear/Sovtek. Unfortunately they're not nearly as common on your side as they are over here.
Also, there's really no reason to buy a 4x15, unless you're into looking as loud as possible rather than being as loud as possible.
No idea they were still being made. That's rad!deathmonkey wrote:Novikov Still makes them as Novik Amps http://novikamps.ru/usilitel/gitarnye-l ... -mk-6.html The red bear facebook page is full of euros with Noviks.D.o.S. wrote:If you want a JCM style head, try to hunt down a Red Bear/Sovtek. I found the Hiwatt Custom 100 I tried to be a bit dull, too. It's just a blunt weapon unless you play it really loudly. I liked the overdrive a lot more than the clean, which is usually the other way around.CaptainBoxman wrote:I had an SC120 a few years back. I always found it surprisingly unresponsive and dull.
It's not fair, I want to try every one of those pedals. They all sound AWESOME.new05002 wrote:killer tired after a lovely day of teaching

I thought that Ampeg 810 cabs were something like.. 400 watts? Or 800 watts? I don't really remember, haha.Ancient Astronaught wrote:
Any large quantity speaker bass cab is going to be extremely high wattage, which is why alot of guys go with a preamp and high wattage SS power amp setup. I've played through a fridge and if your in standard tuning it can't be beat, but with my p-bass in BEAD it had no where near the low end my 2x15 puts out.![]()
Mammoth and Olde Crow both build stained cabinets in a similar yet different vein of Emperor. When Emperor declined to build my headshell Tom at mammoth stepped up and blew them out of the water. His aesthetic and build quality is top notch and he loves big loud doomy cabs. Olde Crow I don't have any personal experience with but the stuff they post online is jaw dropping.
REAL hard to find, haha. I just pretend they don't exist because they're so hard to find.Bassboar wrote:Don't forget the Acoustic 408, I'm determined to build a clone of one someday.
