Outstanding.

I miss my Ric.

Even though I loathed it.

So strange, so awesome.

I sold a few whacky Audere preamps for dirt cheap on TalkButt recently, and I must admit I found the whole thing hilarious. I mean in a way it was doomed from the start, but the entire process of it made me LOL with glee:

But, if I worked in advertising, I'd have to kill myself.

Really? I don't find then very strange really, other then the pickup cover.. Guild Starfires now those are strange, neck is super thin and very think, like playing a broom handle... MTD is another I found weird [V neck shape]

yeah really other then the cover getting in my way in both playing and jacking me strangs up real high no strangeness... but I am not taking off the cover

It looks cool

And it makes me play different which is good

sometimes being taken out of the comfort zone is a really cool thang

Pickup cover, reverse screws, double truss rod requiring weirdo tools, goofy bridge that I can't palm mute, it caused nothing but feedback with my two favourite fuzz pedals, and on top of all that it constantly fell off my strap.

Which, by the way, did NOT fit the Schaller straplocks I had, WTF?! But I mean, that awesome tone. Nothing quite like it. Should have just put it into the closet and shunned it when it would piss me off.

TOTALLY agree about the greatness of being out of one's comfort zone sometimes.

The Ric was just too much for me I guess, haha. Yet I still miss it...

] and redrilled for straplocks
