A Screwdriver and a Honey Bee? Wow.

Also, I have to say, that xtimehascomex guy on youtube has great demos, especially where he puts one pedal vs the other. Not a huge fan that he plays mostly hardcore/screamo riffs, though.. I'll stick with Gearmandude for rock licks and humor and this other guy for the really different stuff that GMD doesn't review.

Ok, this is probably just me and completely irrational (I know nothing of electrics), but does anyone else get the creepos when they see a bunch of expensive pedals rigged up with a 1Spot? You spent $3K on that board, and you can't throw in $150 for a SoundTank or PedalPower or something.
/ :oldrant:
Someone please tell me how silly I'm being and explain why it doesn't matter.

OneSpots are OK, up to a point. They're all just transformers filtering the power, making it DC, and stepping the voltage down.

It's just the PedalPower does a much better job, and also has isolated outputs, versus one common output.

And fuse protection is a big plus. Granted a lot of people run their 1spots from surge protectors but still. :idk:

Yeah, I run everything on its own surge protector (amp on its own, pedals on their own, lights in my room on another circuit..) and someday I'd like to get one of the nice power conditioners. I always check the wiring before I plug in somewhere new, too, with a little ground-tester like this. Image

He's known as Kayzer around here...

:hello: works perfect.... its the diago powerstation... no humming no noise... it's a really cool powerstation! SD and TF run on their won powersupply and Fuzzfaceless MKI runs with battery!

I looked at the site for the Powerstation, and I feel like I know little more. It says it puts out 50% more than the 1Spot! The electronics expert in our band thought it was a good idea, but he uses 2 1Spots and a couple regular power supplies.
:?:
But things like this make me feel like I wasted a bunch of monies:
More expensive power supplies are often engineering marvels, but there really is no need and they cost far too much.
