DO IT! GET AN ULTRA FOLD!!!! They're not particularly expensive, either. Funny how that might have been considered more expensive in the guitar pedal collecting days hahaha

I also use an iRig. I feel like my recordings end up being somewhat quiet, but that's probably because I'm using the -dBu stereo output on my Pro Out. Any video you see here was recorded through an iRig into my phone: https://www.instagram.com/drift_diffusion/

Folders, there are a ton of good ones.

I like ufold 2 for lfos and stuff more (simple and easy to dial.in stages for slower stuff...use it on envelopes too). Vintage Synth Lab has one that is a tripple folder plus kinda summing mixer. It's a lot of fun. STG has a good one that is very Serge like. Serge are out there too. The furthrrr gen is all around good. Befaco has one now too with some other tricks.

Didn't like the STO...and the folding is pretty limited.

I dunno why the ultrafold never interested me.

The doepfer one is supposedly the most over the top.

The other one that interests me is the Toppobrillo TWF. But I think I’ll start with the ultrafold, I have simple wavefolders (can be patch external sources even) on my Shapeshifters but I don’t like them all that much and they only have a single control... would like something with more parameters.

Yes, the Toppobrillo is the one I was trying to think of but blanked.

The twf is the best one in my opinion...15 hp though. It's the most versitile though because I stage for CV and two for osc and other cool stuff like that. It's very open feeling.

The vsl is really cool too with the mix options, but the knobs suck and it ends up being a set and forget affair (have both and ufold 2)

Toppobrillo stuff is my favorite. They are my most used modules after the furthrrr gen and rampage. Love the sport mod.

huh. contacted PCA, and they said my Quad Gate Delay hadna shipped yet because they were waiting for more to come in. i responded that it was weird that it said that it was in stock when i ordered, no response yet.

that's.... a little frustrating.

I got a shipped notification a couple days ago for something on USPS from them. Still waiting for it to go out... but I do get a new case today. So there is instant gratification somewhere!!

so i finally plugged in the uclouds and it's .. way too tiny for my sausage fingers  such a shame, it looks beautiful next to ears and would've looked rad next to lines. makes sense for o_C but fuck this lol I love tweaking the knobs on that thang. pita when it's patched up. if anyone wants to swap or buy, mention this post and I'll give you the behndy hook up :thumb:

Yeah, I have enough trouble with the size of regular sized modules in general. The mini clouds with all the Jacks on the bottom seems like it could still be a possibility.

Not directly related but I just made the mistake of reading a thread on Muffs about the Intellijel Plonk and damn, is that place full of morons. Pathetic, insecure morons who want to think they're the only ones smart enough to make fart noises with instruments that cost thousands of dollars.

Someone who's apparently a semi-famous Youtuber (Andrew Huang) made a video about the Plonk and basically half of that thread is people complaining because that guy made a video about a module and it's not to their taste. Or he's not "real" enough. Or he got the module for free and not them. Or he's too young. Etc.

That place always had some bad apples but it got worse and worse. Ugh. No wonder I basically stopped reading/posting there.
