turned 31, decided I want a strat. But more of a Justin Broadrick/Steven Von Till strat than an SRV strat. So made this out of bits my friend gave me and a $25 pickguard from ebay.



Squier body and neck that's been relic'd (lol), some kind of SD zebra humbucker. Kinda tempted to replace the volume with an on/off switch. The first thing I played on it was a Morning Again song. Will probably use this in the grindy band I play in.

It's a Custom Shop I've been trying to get on trade awhile now. Got a super sweet deal today and jumped on it. Looks insane with that maple neck and matching white headstock, maybe even offensive to some but I LOVE it!

It supposedly has a "light relic" finish too but I can't tell and that's a good thing. Maybe it's referring to the neck as the finish is worn off the back, all smooth and such.
