I miss .12's :(

It is a really good sounding pickup, the pot + cap you put in definitely dialed it in nicely. I was randomly playing some 1/4/8 chords at practice the other day clean with swell delay and some shimmer verb and everyone was shitting bricks, so much they we stopped just to record it to use as the intro / outro of the new album :joy: :omg: :!!!: It definitely is very different than the mean90's I have in the V, its much smoother and more natural sounding, I hear more of the guitar and less of the strings, but it is less crunchy but that works out great for what i do with this guitar. Don't worry my friend its always nearby if you feel the need to jam on it.

Why thank you sir! It definitely matches the rest of my rig wonderfully with the stained natural wood, now i just need a stained wood pedalboard...

I wonder if Mr. Ryan Summit could hook you up with something to your liking. (I don't know that he builds pedalboards.. I just know he has skillz)

Yeah. I really enjoyed the pickup out of that guitar. Like you said, you hear the wood of the guitar more than the strings which is so awesome!

I was gonna say something along the lines of it seems like none of the lines would line up, or the idea would get lost in translation. But he's such a nice guy that i can't do it... plus I feel that I'm set with my pedaltrain, i've run out of real estate and its a great way to keep GAS at bay...

Oh yeah he's making me one for Xmas for my cork-sniffer guitar pedal setup. Most of my boards are just taped together with aluminum foil duct tape (the best shit ever) but I wanted one with class, sophistication, fine lines and high breeding. A pedal board with warm punchy tone, crafted from selected aged hardwoods, finely lacquered and tuned to 440hz. Ryan's Pedgestals deliver the goods, tonaly and aesthetically. 4 out of 5 blues dentists agree, and an entire firm of tone lawyers concur.

He's building me a tiny travel ammo-style board for either my bass stuff or my recording stuff. I'm psyched!

I hope I didn't inadvertently flood Ryan with requests to build boards when he was keeping it on the down-low  :thumb:

Haha, I'm not gonna request one. Not yet at least......;)

That's cool news though, interested to see what he's busting out.
