I would love to go see The Cure with Twilight Sad when they come around, but I'm not paying almost a 100 bucks :/

especially considering I live in a country where that is not a little

it's like a quarter of my monthly part time wage

Yeah - tickets are pretty steep, but it was worth it. I was pleasantly surprised, they played for 3 hours and sounded great.

Missed out on the cure in Canada for free (transit/hotel/tickets) because I can't get into the country. :(

But I get to see Gozu in a tiny ass club with Pigboat, which will be bitchin'.

Yo Milemarker is reuniting, putting out a new album and touring. Like fuck me hard. So stoked for Philly date.

Also the TTNG/Lite date in Philly is gonna be wild.

Also I'll be at Square of Opposition Fest whoever is going.

In the next four weeks it's Gozu, Shabti, Sleep, Churchburn, Primitive Man, Cult Leader, One Master, Sleep (again!) and Conan.

A few weeks out from that is Ogre and Wolves in the Throne Room. The hype is real.

Unabashedly jelly of this incredible fucking lineup. When I was in Portland the other day (you know, when you stood me up *cries*) I saw the posters around town for Sleep, checked the date and saw I couldn't be there, and was just like ELI, ELI, WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN ME

That's a fabulous lineup. I wiped out FB, and so now evidently I'm missing show postings. Definitely going to catch TTNG when they play Sub-T in Chicago--thanks for the heads up.

When I saw Lite at Beat Kitchen it was absolutely mind boggling. The sound, presence, and visuals were sensory overload. Easily one of the best shows I've ever been to.

Unfortunately I was just about as sober as you could be when I got pulled over and failed the breath test by, like, one hundredth of a BAC % a couple of years ago. :(

On the bright side walking everywhere has got me into fairly decent shape. So there's that.

Gotta focus on the upsides! That is shitty, though. The first bit.

Prophets of Rage are coming to town in September, it's super cheap too. I'm torn though. I've never seen Rage and it's not Rage because of no Zach, but it's homie from Cypress Hill and I love both bands...Should I go??? Tickets are only 20 bucks.

I saw Lite on their last tour and stood up front right where the bass player was. That dude can fucking ball.

Yes cuz Chuck D.

It's not Rage, but I'd pay $20 to hear him spit some old school PE.
