:joy: MOUNTAINKING BEHEMOTH II :omg:

Well, the higher gain portions are said Behemoth anyhow. The "clean" bits are my Trace tube head just being its typical magical self.

I love making my boutique Jazz bass sound like this. :animal:

moof. that's some good stuff NadDad. your drummer's pretty damn tasty too.

re: rule reminder....... yeah. i'd like it to be more free flowing, Bitches That Jump Up Get Slapped Down type atmosphere over there...... but within the rules that they set out, at least what i was posting, was a bit out of bounds. no points or anything, just got my posts yanked and a reminder to watch that ass. i feel Grygalaxian on that. he right, he right. no bigs.

edit - now, to listen to your dirty ass some more.

I ALWAYS FORGET THAT HITTING SUBMIT WILL CUT OFF THE EMBEDDED GOODNESS. damn damn damn.

Thanks man. My drummer should be famous. On top of being the most talented musician I've ever met, he's always musical even with his fancy shit, and a totally chill dude. Instead, he's stuck working at Walmart. Oh well.

fuck yeah. the dooder that plays trumpet for No Doubt, i've known him for a good long while. he's CRAZY talented. mad skeelz.

we're not super tight but one time we were talking right after No Doubt blew up and he got back from the first tour with them. he said something like, "yeah, i've played with people that blew me away for years. done 4 or 5 bands and once, all kinds of stuff like ska or fast jazz or weird crazy mashup stuff that is fun to play. where i get to do lines that are interesting. made ZERO money. with No Doubt, i do a "dah dah daht" every few measures, and just....... money. weird world.".

That pretty much echos my experience with several famous musicians. The real successful ones can mop the floor with anyone. ANYONE. And they get paid by doing the exact opposite. At the same time, I've met a few Big Names who can't play for beans, but are solid enough and are just flat out chill dudes, so they get the $$$. Weird world indeed.

I did a sellout gig in LA for a stint, it was fun but at the same time very stupid. One time I did a couple of wanky fills at the beginning of a show, literally during a minute long walk-on / warm-up thing designed so that everyone can get a feel for the stage sound, so I had A Talking To the next practice. WHATEVZ.

After I quit that band they played some festival in Serbia, oh well. I went back to playing noisy shit for myself and was happy. :joy:

Actually to be honest I learned a lot in that band, and while I was quite discouraged from playing what I felt like playing, it did allow me to use a fuuuuuuuuuuckton of pedals, because she loved all kinds of textures and sounds and poop. Just not so much with the notes. :idk:

i'm an audio mulcher sometimes. not in a good way.

mmmmmmmmm.......... bagel. is. delicious.
