New Silversun. i can dig it.

Nice. It's definitely not their best material (they are b-sides afterall), but it is cool to hear something slightly different/darker. Apparently the new album is going to be darker than all there other stuff, looking forward to it.

Also, I know by ILF standards that track may not be "dark," using it in comparison to previous work.
Not everyone can be dressed in long black robes playing heavy guitar riffs; then we'd all just be mindless drones.

i've always liked silversun. they blew me away live. still probably top 5 bands i've ever seen. brian's a great guitarist imo and nikki was adorable live. that track is pretty good for a b-side though, and if the new album is coming out in the spring like they said, there should be a single or something of the sort coming out soon? plus every time i hear them, i want to steal my girlfriends epiphone sheraton 2 and oscillate the fuck out of my amp

Hah yeah they have a really good sound. I really like what Brian does with the guitar, nice textures.
I also agree that they were quite good live.

They're still tracking the album now, so I don't know when we will hear a track. Though they did post a short video clip from the studio and they had some sweet drones going on. Excited to hear where they go.

great song. i wouldn't mind a little bit of droning on the new release. i think they could definitely work it in to their sound. i dont expect black robes tho, and i doubt he's gonna trade in the hot rod deville for a Sunn. i just wish they released material a little more frequently

I would like them to release stuff more often, too. But it is what it is. They're all in their mid/late thirties, so they're prolly just like... "whatever, man."
