My dad gave me the V-Amp head that I blew up on accident last year. The analog out still works, and it can basically be used as a multieffects pedal, if you bypass the preamp, so I have it turned into a Digital Delay and Reverb box with an up/down footpedal. Which saves me the work of having to get my hands on a DD pedal.
I can't really crank the volume right now, but I think it might be coloring my tone like crazy, though. I'll figure it out later.

I got home without running out of gas after some chick let me pay primarily in pennies and even put in like $.50. I'm that broke, but I'm not stuck on the side of the road in 'stallis.
Seriously, I was freaking out. Now I'm in bed watching Colbert eating strawbs w/ Activia and pixie sticks. It's all good.

guitar -> dirty bomb (cranked everything) -> amp (full volume)
playing along to rammstein songs blasting through my sound system at full volume
I love it when I'm home alone

my acoustic 12-string is so great since i worked on it a couple of weeks ago. it's an Alvarez spruce/maple jumbo...i replaced its cheap plastic parts with a bone bridge saddle and ivoroid pins from StewMac and it's so loud, so balanced, so bright. and it stays in tune now. there's a wonderful thing 12-strings do at certain tempos where the pattern you're playing interacts with the resonance of the guitar and the open strings and it's like acoustic feedback...the guitar almost takes off on its own. the Alvy was doing that last night, and it was really delightful.

Just absolutely stomped on a midterm over WWII, and got free lunch afterwards.
I will say this, if I never have to write the word "Bewegungskrieg" or "Aufstragtaktik" again, it would be too soon.

Heh, no, it's a history of warfare class, so we were discussing the Wehrmacht's tactics. Next we head into the Korean War, I believe.

I just got the package Achtane sent me. Dude is a champ. I expected a guitar and a chunk of the hardware, he included a Guitar Fetish pup, a contact mic, some of the electronics, a replacement nut, some knobs, and a sticker that says "DRUGS NOT HUGS".
I did an unpacking video, but I'm not totally sure that it uploaded right.

I wrote a song today. I'm happy with how it might sound in a full band setting with a lot of tweaking. It just reeks of the Saddle Creek sound, lol, and it's meant to be played on electric. I just wanted to send something to my bassist.
Oh, and I'm not sure about a lot of the vocal melodies(especially the first one), and lyrics, so be gentle.

I also put $3 in gas in my car and will make it through the weekend.
EDIT: Oh and my post-punk project may finally come together. I'm going to Music Go Round to pick out a bass/bass amp with my soon-to-be bassist (had played guitar). And the drummer has a solid jam space. Awesome!

Looks like I might be getting a factory job! My dad is old air force buddies with the damn plant manager, and it looks like he got me an interview. It looks like I'll be able to get the money to move this August. I'm so happy!

Shit yeah, good luck. That's awesome.
Also I totally missed your earlier post. There should be a brohug emoticon.
