It had not nothing to do with that but more to do with seeing MechaGodzilla had one up for the exact amount of money in my PayPal account from selling other pedals

I like it, though the overall level is kind of wimpy, but I got plenty of boosts to fix that. The ring portion is pretty good and takes a tune pretty well. I've been enjoying mixing it low and ... that's right.. add delay and rainbow machine muahaha

I've spent more on toy figures the past few days, than my last couple of pedals
