Got this a week or so back and have been too busy playing with all the switches and knobs to photograph it:

Love phasers, love filters, so it was a pretty sure bet I'd love this. Don't have a CV pedal that works with it though.

Basic Audio Knight Fuzz incoming... Not sure why. Just been curious about it and got offered a decent deal on one.

Right?! Dminner always does amazing work. I'm not sure if those are the knobs I want to keep on there yet. I have too many options and like them all :)
BetterOffShred wrote:Oh. Sure I have one. Yeah it's pretty good. Dino did a layout with a pickup simulator from a small transformer as well, which helps the effect retain som4 of the bananas parts with either singles coils .. I mainly play humbuckers so I didn't do that layout. I used Fredrik Lyxzen layout.

Jealous of that box though. Mines hot pink with a puffy planet sticker and rainbow knobs. Haha.
Yea, I'm thinking about adding the transformer mod. Supposed to fix the buffers pre circuit issue when in osc. mode (placement in chain wont matter). Simple enough to add in and forget about (and I've been wanting to pick up a couple of those for a diff circuit anyway). An expression control over freq, and maybe fuzz, might happen as well. First, however, I need to swap the Send with a switching jack.

I put an expression jack on the frequency on mine, but I honestly haven't ever tried it :picard:
I just got an expression pedal so I'll give it a go.

Have you tried different LM386s in it at all? I got drastic oscillation difference between chips I tried. It ended up sounding the best with a -3.. which I believe is just rated for higher input voltage. Could be a total coincidence.

Also judging by the picture, yours has crazy high output? I think I keep the volume on mine at like 9:00 :erm:
It's loud AF

Actually auditioning 386's today :thumb: . You are correct, on the -3 notation. Either that one, or the -4 can handle 18v if memory serves. As for output, yea holy hell it's loud. Granted, I had to keep it down a bit when I was playing at the time of the pic. I want to double check and make sure it's set up right (it prob is).

It's more of an attacking device, I'd say.
