If that LR is anything like mine then you'll need to give it 10mins in the fridge if your summers hit 23 degrees (edit: celsius)

Who's summers don't get to at least 73 deg?! I'm moving, haha.
And that's awful if you're not kidding.

Tbh, it made me feel stupid more than anything, and I was surprised that I've never had any trouble with other nos germanium-loaded pedals (and I've had a fair few fuzzes and boosts). I think the issue around germanium fuzzes and temperature comes from places with more extreme climates than here in Britain.
also if you talk farenheit to me, you might as well be speaking Tolkien's elvish

my bad. I'm lucky if it's 23deg C, in spring. Let alone summer (closer to 37 celcius). Which officially takes that pedal off my list
... Just picture it: your pedal board basking in the beer cooler while you jam

It should be noted though that the LR is a fucking beefy riff monster, a honky solo belter - basically a whole stoner/doom board in one unit.

Yeah I sold a Cornell First Fuzz (NKT275) because I could only use it fall-winter (mid atlantic/NYC area) without adjusting the internal bias trimpot every jam sesh, but in the hot months it sounded too flabba-flubby with that extra heat/humidity retained in the air, even with central hvac keeping consistent temp!
There was a lot of overlap with other dirt I have so that went to fund some rare birds of another feather.
Also have a Skinpimp MK2 Tonebender with oc81d that is strictly a toy for the cold months. Soon as June rolls around it goes into drawer storage.
Hybrid circuits like Harmonic Percolators work for me year-round. ICs too, generally speaking.

Are these Lucifer Rising pedals the same as the ones in the bigger, more D*A*M style looking enclosures? Is it just an aesthetic difference or is a different circuit? They look cool.

from what I gather it is just pedal board friendly and no battery option.

from looking at pics off ebay, reverb and google ..only thing that stands out to be different between the two are different colored capacitors every so often
