Unless the microgranny can replicate the sound itself that the Possessed makes, nah. There is some sweet, sweet magic to the Possessed's sounds.

I mean, you can maybe get a Raptio from hell sound, depends. Hmm, It might require a programmable midi controller so I can make he midi changes momentary. That way you can have the standard playback and then glitch setting.Strange Tales wrote:Unless the microgranny can replicate the sound itself that the Possessed makes, nah. Such a beautiful beast. I've yet to find a glitch / stutter pedal I bond with, but this and the Judder both keep vying for my attention...Disarm D'arcy wrote:
I mean that seems like wayyyyy more trouble than it's worth. I have a Ginko SampleSlicer in my rack that I can just time with a BeatStep Pro trigger. Way easier and wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy less work.Inconuucl wrote:I mean, you can maybe get a Raptio from hell sound, depends. Like, say you have a programmable 6 button controller. Two of those buttons would be play and record. Two would go through the record slots. The last two would be momentary knob settings to glitch the fuck out of the current loop. I can see that being doable.I'll research after work.
Get like 10, keep shifting the signal up and down, enjoy your new insufferable lofi tone.oscillateur wrote:I think I want a third Boss PS-3...
I had two on my synths effects board but I put one of them on the guitar/bass board and it's great there too. I could actually have four of these things... If I'm lucky I can grab them for (the local equivalent of) about $80, I just need to have good timing when checking some websites.
But well, the delay modes are good, the dual detune mode is great, the pitch shift modes can be cool too and even mode 7 has its uses...
I tried Eivind's and it was pretty amazing. Didn't have enough time to figure it out but it sounded great and very usable unlike a lot of glitch stuff.jrmy wrote:Such a beautiful beast. I need a bedroom amp
I can tame my half stack, I'm no decibel nazi or anything. The thing is, I'll have to do my noodling in my frikkin bedroom from now on, and hauling that heavy ass 4x12 up and down those narrow stairs everytime I'm playing out is NOT an option.
Suggestions for the quietest possible 1X12 combo that doesn't sound thin or boxy would be welcome. Preferably something that's a little less nasal/sterile than say a sf fender, and something that handles dirt peds differently than Vox'es. It'll be stricly for home use, so doesn't have to be the bees knees either. Can't spend too much anyway, that'll probably my main issue here. The lower the wattage te better, but I'm not limiting myself to 5Watt amps, I've got an attenuator, so...
I considered getting somekind of inefficient 1X12 cab, but a combo amp wouldn't cost THAT much more, and my GAS is dictating me to use this excuse to get another amp, instead going the sensible/boring thing![]()
Figured I might as well try this here instead of wasting a fresh thread on it. Cheers.
The Orange micro head wasn't bad, I've been tempted to try the Dark version. I'm a big fan of the Champ600, but that's essentially a SF circuit - I wouldn't call it sterile, surprising amount of thump for a little 6" speaker.Iommic Pope wrote:The little Orange solid states are cheap and good.frigid midget wrote:It's sunday, i've got a bad case of GAS, so here goes

I have the 20w with the 8" speaker.
I never have to turn it up past 1/4 volume for bedroom stuff AND it has a headphone out.
Takes pedals well, is a little thin at low volumes after a 50w half stack, but that's inevitable.
