man, I do LOVE the guitar, but...
it feedbacks like a bitch (which can be fun)
so many pickup options, with coil tap AND out of phase options.
I found a way to get a Shellac type tone with it, cept', ya know, not as good.

got some eye man.
It was a custom bridge built for me.
I made the guy a sculpture for it, really helps tame the spank just enough.

Here's my new Squier VM Jazzmaster. I've only been able to play it for a couple of hours because we had some friends in town for Thanksgiving. Tomorrow, though...

Yeah the headstock is a little too SX for me too; but I've seen him build guitars with better styled headstocks.

I think he is just trying to avoid getting sued
Or avoid the pissing matches that come from making an instrument too closely resemble the instrument they are imitating.
